Off the beaten mice track

The citrus grove is a Carinthian landmark in which Carinthia is particularly proud. Visitors will find here an oasis of peace and relaxation, but also a source of inspiration for great ideas, can escape here with culinary delights of the great summer heat or simply a wonderful excursion while experiencing something new.

The citrus grove was therefore a little surprising and was also a destination for incentive trips and has enjoyed great popularity for a number of different events, including the presentation of the region at home and abroad. For Carinthia, the collaboration with Michael Ceron and his citrus garden is a big stroke of luck. With its refreshing nature and great passion for lemons, Michael Ceron remains a lasting ambassador for the visitors, making it the perfect ambassador for the region and its people.

Michaels great love has been in agriculture for 25 years, but he would never have thought his fascination for cultivating his own lemons would determine his whole life. Today, with more than 280 different citrus varieties, it is probably the largest collection of this kind in Europe. The citrus varieties, brought together with great enthusiasm from all over the world, thrive in their horticulture on protected outdoor areas and in overwintering greenhouses with different temperature zones. Michael Ceron is especially proud of the only growing variety of Buddha's hand in Asia, which is an absolute sight in the citrus garden. All lemons are cultivated in biological cultivation and Michael's golden treasures are therefore also very high in the top gastronomy. The oldest lemon plant in the citrus grove is already 65 years old, which underlines the robustness of the plants cultivated here and ensures the supply of organic lemons for a long time.

In the immediate vicinity of the citrus grove is the family-run Hotel Zollner, an ideal place for relaxation, sports and small and exquisite seminars. This charming chalet-style hotel is located between Warmbad Villach and the Faaker See lake, within easy reach of the A2 motorway. Four state-of-the-art seminar rooms offer everything necessary for a successful business event. Also the technical equipment leaves nothing to be desired: TV and video, projector, slide projector, video camera, overhead, flipchart and internet connection. The seminar rooms can be used by 10-70 people.

The Hotel Zollner fulfills all your wishes - after a strenuous seminar day, you can dine in the restaurant, relax in the swimming pool or relax at the nearby golf course. Let yourself be spoiled by genuine Carinthian warmth and hospitality as well as the numerous natural products from the hotel's garden.

Away from the MICE PATH

The citrus garden is a pilot project and has developed into one of the best incentive ideas in Villach. In the large, open kitchen with dining area, cooking classes, lectures and seminars take place. Top chefs come here with their kitchen bridges to get to know the citrus fruits as well as their processing and preparation and also use the kitchen very much.
At this unique and unique place you can relax and concentrate.
The citrus garden is the perfect example of how a passion becomes a successful business idea. The saying "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade out of it," is here correct.

In addition to seminars, Michael Ceron also organizes guided tours and tastings of its citrus products. You should try the different jams of fresh lemons. And with a glass of lemon jam or a lemon plant you can take a small piece of the citrus garden home with you.

Villach is the second largest city in Carinthia and enchants its guests with a magnificent natural scenery and alpine town flair. This picturesque town in the middle of Carinthia has excellent transport connections with Klagenfurt (40 km) and the airport in Ljubljana (100 km). The journey by car from Slovenia takes place via the A11 Karawanken motorway and from Italy or Vienna via the A2 Südautobahn. For Villach, there are two motorway exits: Faakersee to get to the city center, and Ossiachersee to get to the north of the city.
